` Personality [At least two paragraphs]
Lily is not very social; some of the people in the institution seriously scare her. She believes her condition isn’t severe enough to be in the institute, but her parents made her go because it affected her school work. Lily is very sarcastic, and she tends to make people feel a little intimidated. She tries to make friends at the institution, but sometimes she just doesn’t care at all if she has friends.
It’s hard to get on Lily’s good side; she is such a fearful person that she cannot trust easily, and she is a closed case. It takes immense struggle and effort to get her to open up. Lily won’t tell anyone about her nightmares, or what happens in them. She is secretive, and mysterious because of it.
` History [At least three paragraphs]
Lily was born in San Diego, CA to Dave and Kathy Marshall. Her father was a business owner, and her mother was an international business woman. Frankly, the money came in quite nicely. Lily grew up in paradise, loving California, and the money she possessed. She never had any problems, except she rarely saw her mother. Her father was always there for her, helping her out, and being there for her. Lily is closer to her father than her mother. They lived in a beach house. Overall, Lily had a fairly good childhood, even though she never saw her mother.
When Lily was 12, her parents started having problems. Her mother was a raging alcoholic, and her father just couldn’t take it. Her mother ran away, and left Lily and Dave alone. Dave lost his job because of disorderly conduct after she left, and he had to settle as a measly accountant. Lily lost her riches, and she was first introduced into poverty. Before, she had never known what it was like to not be rich. Her father always regretted bringing her into poverty, but Lily was surprisingly flexible. They weren’t poor, they just weren’t upper class anymore.
More than ever, Lily pushed herself in school, and this was probably why she is such a dedicated student. She needed the scholarships, and has worked hard for them, but does not live in the same luxuries as everyone else. Her car isn’t as nice, but she has a laptop, and an iPod, all the same. Lily forgives her father for everything he’s done, but still wants her mother. She hasn’t seen her in years, and she misses her. Her mother has stayed out of contact, and Lily would give anything to see her again. She wants her mother home, and she wants her parents to get back together, but this is highly unlikely. Dave doesn’t stay with any women too long because it is impossible for them to get on Lily’s good side.
Lilly started having nightmares around age 9. At first, she thought they were premonitions, telling her what was going to happen. But, she soon learned that they were not the future, just her own insane mind playing games with her. She dreams mostly of people grabbing at her, taking her away. Lily lives in her own world, in a nightmarish world where the impossible may happen.
Lily was interested in photography after she received a camera for her birthday, and not just any old digital camera, but one of the camera’s like the paparazzi have. She loves photographing; it makes her see things besides her nightmares. Eventually, Dave found out about Lily’s nightmares, and since it started to affect her normally cheery behavior, he sent her off to the institute.

Lily is beautiful, but she doesn’t think so. She has medium length blonde hair, which will usually be either straight or wavy. Her eyes are blue, but sometimes they can appear to be greener than blue. She is 5’3, and weighs 108 lbs. She has a petite figure.
Lily’s dress is casual. She wears jackets, t shirts, jeans, pants, polos, and sweat pants for the most part. Usually these colors are darker than light, reflecting her troubles. She dresses to how she feels, and her favorite color changes day by day, so she dresses to this as well.
` Roleplay Sample
Lily sat on a stool in a dark room, a blue shade covering her. She sees her own face, and everything is blurred, like in slow motion. She breathes, and her breath echoes raggedly throughout the room. She hears her steady heartbeat, and she can see the sweat on her face drip down. The scene flashes, and ten pairs of hands are coming from behind Lily, grabbing at her, pulling her back. She opens her mouth, and let’s out a scream. They pull at her hair, at her skin, and she can’t escape…
Lily shot up in bed, in a dead sweat. She was panting, tears streaming down her face. This was normal procedure for the nighttime. Lily might as well have insomia, for she barely got any sleep as it was. Lily swung her legs over the bed, her skin tingling from where the hands had just been touching her. She bends her head, crying softly. Was she ever going to get out? Were these nightmares every going to stop?
Lily stepped off the bed, hurrying to her door, and trying to open it unsuccessfully. She rattled the doorknob, but it wouldn’t budge. She could only guess that she was in another nightmare, and she was locked in her room; in her mind. Lily sank to the floor, sobbing in her hands. She couldn’t take this anymore, it was too hard.
