The story of creation is well-known amongst the creatures of the Earth. Everyone knows that the horses were created first and foremost of all creatures, and they were the favorites of the gods.
The beautiful slender creatures were given priority over the lesser creatures. Their coats gleamed and sparkled in the rays of the sun, the depths of their eyes bespoke of intelligence and wisdom, their words were like silky lullabies. The horses struck awe in the hearts of other creatures. Their beauty was spoken of in whispers. Horses were like gods.
And while these horses were envied by the lesser creatures, the horses themselves envied each other. Massive egos arose and arguments began. Herds gathered and fought together, spilling the blood of the beautiful creatures onto the earth and eternally staining a world once untouched by sin. The world became utmost chaos.
The gods, stricken with grief at the destruction of their beautiful world, turned their eyes from the raging battles. They created a massive island in the middle of the ocean and named it the Realm of the Forgotten, for it was to replace the beauty and tranquility that had been forgotten. Horses were recreated, their minds altered to not have so much pride. The land was beautiful and peace reigned.
But the gods, having pity for those they first created, invented a long winding path through the ocean and connected the two lands together. This path was wide enough to allow one equine to pass over it with ease and was composed of a solid sand and clay mixture. It was created with the intention of letting those battle-weary and hopeless to find a place of peace. But the path is not always visible. It stands for one month out of the year and then sinks back into the ocean. No one knows exactly when it will appear for it never rises on the same month.
For years the path remained a secret from the destructive forces of the chaotic world. Only those who were meant to find it, found it. But now this path has been discovered and the bloodthirsty horses are ready to see what is beyond it. Plans are being made to cross it.
Little by little, they will journey over the path to this new, unforeseen land and wreak havoc upon its inhabitants. What they do not know is that the gods perceived that one day this might happen. They bestowed powers upon the Realm's horses. Powers that would allow these horses, horses of good, to eliminate the threat of the horses of evil.
W e l c o me ; ;
Not like most magical horse sites, it does not go on the point system. As you become more active on the site, the staff will up your power levels. Your appearance may slightly alter depending on your lineage. Set on an illusive island kingdom you have the choice to either be a Pure-blood (those of the island) Half-Blood, or the Envious. You can obtain powers, or you may have some; again your lineage comes into play.
The staff will have characters and not just sit around waiting for someone to disobey. We will RP with you happily. We will help you along the path with your powers. Do not fret.
The lineage plays an important role in your character. The pure-bloods are born with powers, elemental. They continue to escalate over time. The Half-Bloods are a cross product of the two. They pick up powers within a few months of birth, which continue to escalate over time. The Envious do not have powers at birth. You must cross the path to the Realm. After wandering there for some time, you pick up powers which also escalate over time.
