Now, naturally, Stephanie Urban was usually that quiet little girl you would find sitting in a booth alone, her head buried in a book. So here she sat today in Starbucks, sipping on her coffee. She crossed her legs under the table, her head rested against her hand, her eyes actually closing slightly. She was pretty dead at the moment, her bangs coming into her eyes as she stared down at the table.
Wearing a white long-sleeved shirt and black skinny jeans with black flats on her feet, her foot was tapping the air to non-existent music. It was something she did; she hated sitting still, even when it was completely necessary to sit still. She sighed, stirring her coffee to get the sugar to spread out.
She looked up, glancing around at Starbucks; not really any people that she knew were there. She shrugged it off; it wasn’t that odd, really. She slammed her book shut, putting it in her bag on the floor. Instead, she rested her head in her left hand, stirring her drink around with a straw in the other. Honestly, the only thing she wanted right now was some company.

Molly walked into Starbucks. She actually hated coffee. However, cappuchinos she loved. She walked into the line and waited. She tapped her foot. She was being pretty impatient that day. When she finally got up to the front of the line she ordered a French Vanilla Cappuchino. She paid for it and looked around. She didnt see anyone she knew. That is until she spotted Stephanie Urban. Now, Molly and Stephanie didnt know eachother too well. Molly found the fact that Stephanie didnt talk interesting. She walked over to her table.
Molly sat down without asking. She smiled at Stephanie. She was a pretty girl. It was a shame she was completely straight. Molly shrugged and smiled at her. "Hey Steph. How are you?" She hadnt talked to Stephanie in a while and a lot can happen. On one side of the table sat wild, crazy, party girl, Molly Sampson and on the other side was quiet, reserved, laid back Stephanie Urban. Not a pair you would see often. Molly wanted to help Stephanie break out of her shell. Molly knew she could do it too.

Hearing the door open, she actually surprised herself by not looking up. She took a sip of her coffee as she tossed the straw that she had been stirring her coffee with into the trash. But she couldn’t help but look up as she heard someone sit down at the table. Seeing Molly Sampson, she gave her a small smile. She and Molly weren’t exactly the best of friends or anything like that. They didn’t even know each other. But that didn’t mean it wouldn’t be interesting to get to know her.
She put her coffee down on the table before saying in her quiet voice, “I’m pretty good, I guess. What about you?” Her voice actually sounded quieter than it had been in a while. Obviously because she hadn’t really said anything in a while. But the only reason was because she didn’t have her notebook with her; in her hurry to get some good coffee, she forgot it.

Molly looked at Stephanie and smiled. She was a nice girl. Molly tilted her head as she listened to her. "Well, Ive been better." She shrugged. She just smiled again. Remembering that she was going to a party tonight, she decided to invite Stephanie. Molly wanted to see how Stephanie would act around other people. Plus, it would be a better chance for them to bond. "Hey! Are you doing anything tonight?"
Molly took a sip of her drink. There would be drinking at the party. A lot of it actually. She wondered if Stephanie drunk. Molly laughed to herself as she tried to picture it. She couldnt picture it at all. She shook her head before looking back up at Stephanie. She had a sense that not everything was as good as she tried to make it seem. "Ya know...if anythings ever wrong, you can talk to me." She smiled at her.

She looked at Molly as she smiled, and she gave one back to her. Molly did seem like a nice girl, even if she was a bit wild at times. She nodded as she said she’d had better days; Steph could completely relate with that. She took a sip of her coffee, her eyes scanning the other customers at Starbucks; no one else that she knew. She turned back to Molly as she asked her if she was doing anything tonight. Putting her coffee down on the table, she crossed her arms on the table, relaxing them. “No, I’m not. Why?” She tilted her head at the girl.
She ran a hand through her hair, which was actually straight and hanging over her shoulders. She picked her coffee back up, just holding it in her hands for warmth. She looked up as she heard Molly talking again, and she just gave her a small smile. “I guess I’m out of it….it’s normal.” She shrugged; it would be lying if she said she was rarely out of it.

She looked at Stephanie. For a moment she thought that she shouldnt ask Stephanie. What could it hurt? They get totally trashed together, wake up naked in a dumpster with 5 guys they dont know? Molly laughed to herself. "Well...Im going to a party and I want you to come." She gave her a genuine smile.
Molly nodded. She was often out of it, too. "I know how you feel there. Im like that a lot." She gave her a friendly smile. Things were still pretty awkward between them. They had only talked a few times before. Molly hoped that maybe this party would bring them closer. In a way, she doubted that it would.

She looked at Molly; she seemed to be thinking. Half of Stephanie wondered if she even wanted to know what the girl was thinking. Hearing her question, she raised an eyebrow at her. Honestly, in Stephanie’s life, she hadn’t really been to a party. Well, when she was little, she would go to her friends’ birthday parties and stuff. But not like a party party. She took a sip of her coffee before saying, “Sure. Why not? It could be fun.”
She gave Molly a smile, nodding. “Usually if I’m bored it happens.” She still knew things were pretty awkward between tem; they honestly didn’t know much about each other. Only their names, really. She took a sip of her coffee before saying, “So, Molly. How long have you been at the Institute?”

Molly was kind of shocked that Stephanie agreed to go so soon. She bit her lip. Had Stephanie ever been to a party? "Really? Wow.. have you ever been to a party?" Molly hoped that she had. She wasnt sure if Stephanie could handle a big party. With all the drugs and alcohol there, Stephanie might feel out of place.
Molly laughed. "For sure." When she watched Stephanie take a drink, Molly smiled. She had forgotten she even had a drink. She picked up her cappuchino and took a long drink. Molly might be anorexic but she loved cappuchinos. She set it back on the table as Stephanie asked her a question. "A while. A lot longer then I should be." She shrugged. "How about you?
She gave Molly a smile, nodding. “Usually if I’m bored it happens.” She still knew things were pretty awkward between tem; they honestly didn’t know much about each other. Only their names, really. She took a sip of her coffee before saying, “So, Molly. How long have you been at the Institute?”

She shrugged, almost guessing that she was shocked that Steph would actually agree that fast. She actually surprised herself; her brain was saying think about it for a bit, but her mouth said sure. Hearing her question, she bit her lip, slightly embarrassed about it, but she shook her head. “Not really…does your friend’s eighth birthday party count?” She made it sound like a joke, even though she was being completely serious.
She couldn’t help but laugh as she did. Obviously the two were getting along better than expected. Hearing her answer to her question, she nodded. She thought back before answering. “I think…maybe almost a year and a half now? Way too long for me to actually stay here. But I guess I kind of like it here at times.” She shrugged; she might have gotten her time spent here a bit wrong, but that was the truth. Sometimes she enjoyed it.

Molly looked at Stephanie when she spoke. The smiled faded on her lips. She bit her lip. Was Stephanie ready for a big party? Molly looked at her and smiled weakly. "Are you sure that you want to go?" She wondered about it. "I mean, theres going to be alcohol...and possibly drugs." Molly had no idea how Stephanie felt about alcohol or drugs.
Molly listened to Stephanie. She shrugged. "Well, if your here still, they must have some kind of reason." She didnt really know what to say. As much as Molly hated Kailyn, she knew that everyone was there for a reason. Whether its a good reason or not, its still a reason. She never really knew why Stephanie was there.

Seeing that smile fade off of Molly’s face, she silently yelled at herself; either the girl thought she was extremely pathetic, or there was something else. Hearing what she had to say about it, she looked down at her coffee, turning the cup around in her hands. After about a minute of thinking, she looked up, a determined smile on her face as she nodded. “I’m sure.” Oh well if it was going to be a big party; it was a chance to just get out there.
She nodded, sighing. “That’s true. But it still sucks.” She shrugged, taking a sip of her coffee. In her eyes, almost everyone there seemed positively normal. Even Molly; but that was because Stephanie didn’t really have much of a clue why Molly was even there at all, but part of her suspected anorexia. But only because she had heard things around the place; but she shrugged the thoughts off as she took one more small sip of her coffee before putting it down on the table.

Molly raised an eyebrow at Stefanie. It was surprising that she wanted to go. Surprising, but good. Molly smiled at her. "Thats awesome! Just if you get drunk, dont blame me for anything you do." Molly let out a small laugh. Half of her was serious and the other half was kidding. She picked up her drink and took a sip. The drink was getting cold and unappealing. Making a disgusted face, she set her drink down.
Molly smiled at Stephanie. "So.. what do you like to do for fun?" She wanted to know more about Stephanie. They hadnt really talked before and that kinda made her sad. Stephanie seems like a really nice girl and Molly could always uses more friends. She put up a finger, telling her to wait. She stood up, taking her drink with her. She walked over to a trash can and threw her drink away. She walked back over to Stephanie and sat down. "That was gross."

She couldn’t help but laugh as she listened to what Molly said. She nodded, saying, “Okay, fine. But if I wake up in a place that I don’t recognize, I will most definitely hunt you down.” She gave the girl as smile as she said it. It was weird; they hadn’t known each other that long, but they were getting along pretty well. Really well, actually. Had it been anyone else, Stephanie might not have agreed to have gone to a party like that… Catching her make a disgusted face, she tilted her head at her.
Taking one last sip of her coffee, she looked up at she heard a question directed at her. She made to answer when she saw her hold up a finger. She watched her as she stood up, throwing out her drink. Listening to her, she couldn’t help but giggle a bit. “Any drinks cooled down does suck..” She shrugged before saying, “For fun? Oh. I’m a pretty….um…” She had no idea what to say. She wasn’t like Molly in the slightest except for the fact they were both girls. She sighed, shrugging. “Honestly, I don’t know. I guess I’m more of the hide in my room and just let fun stuff find me kind of person, you know?” She shrugged at her; she had no idea what else she could say.

Molly laughed at Stephanies answer. "Well, I'd better go into hiding now." She let out another small laugh. Molly was surprised how good they were getting along. Stephanie was so different then Molly. Molly was loud and crazy and Stephanie was quiet and reserved. She wanted to get to know Stephanie better and getting her drunk jsut might be the perfect way to do it.
LATER THAT NIGHT
Molly walked up to Stephanies dorm. She was wearing a pair of black, straight legged, tight jeans. Her top was a flowy, light purple, silky, sleeveless shirt. She was wearing light purple flats. Her hair fell straight on her shoulders. She knocked on the door and waited for Stephanie to answer. She was excited about this party. She figured that Stephanie might loosen up at the party. Then, maybe Molly would see a side of her that was more like her.

Hearing what Molly said, she couldn't help but laugh. And it didn't bug her what she said, even if she realized that it meant that Stephanie might wake up in a place she didn't know. It was even surprising Stephanie how well she and Molly were getting along. They were pretty much the opposites of each other.
Later...
Sitting in front of her mirror, she sighed, agitated at her hair. It was bugging her slightly, but she figured that she would put it behind her. It looked fine for now; being straight and hanging over her shoulders was the way that she loved. Standing up, she ran a hand over her outfit. Not exactly her best, but it was good enough. She had on black skinny jeans and a white tee shirt underneath a black jeans jacket. On her feet were her ever favorite, and best, pair of black flats. Hearing the knocking on the door, she walked over, opening it slowly. Part of her was actually thinking it wasn't going to be Molly, but she gave her a smile as she saw Molly. "Hey." Taking a step outside of her dorm, she closed her door slowly behind her as she stood in front of Molly.
