Nothing to doo... Nothing to do. Poor Dakota. She was stuck in her dorm, and her roomate wasn't there, so she had no one to talk to. She quickly got dressed in black skinny jeans, and plain white tank top, a bright blue zip up hoodie, and her black flats. Nothing too special. It's not like she was planning on meeting up with anyone.
She headed towards the front of the school, and towards to the courtyard. She made her way to one of her favorite places, the fountain. It was relaxing. Not a good place to smoke, but you know. It's whatever.
Running a hand through her red hair, she frowned slightly. Things had been pretty boring lately, nothing to do. No one to talk to. She glanced around for someone she knew, but no such luck. There wasn't anyone to amuse her. Dangggg.

Derek ran out of the school, laughing. There were two male teachers behind him, shaking their fists. Derek had just gotten caught spray painting the lockers. Luckily, he didnt know the teachers who caught him. He had ran out of the school as fast as he could. He ran out past the court yard. He saw a bunch of people, just know one he knew.
Derek stopped running and looked around. He was hoping to see a familiar face. He kicked the dirt in his dark blue Etnies. He shrugged. He was wearing black, tight jeans that were a bit too long for him. He was wearing his light blue and black striped hoodie. Even though he wasnt cold at all. He yawned and started to walk towards the fountain.
As Derek was walking to the fountain, he smiled. There was Dakota Woods. Someone he was used to seeing there. He looked at her. He couldnt help but think she was pretty. Shaking that thought out of his head, he walked up to her and sat on the fountain. "Hey stranger." He looked at her and smirked.

Dakota looked up when someone talked to her. Derek. Wonderful. She rolled her eyes at him before saying "What do you want Derek?" She quickly brought her eyes down from his face.
She couldn't like him. That just.. no. He defiantly didn't like her, and he annoyed the crap out of her. No way in hell did she like him. She looked back up at his face. He was really cute. No. She pushed that thought from her mind with the thought that he was completely annoying.

Derek looked at her when she spoke to him. He put his hand on his chest, trying to look hurt. "Someones a bit cranky." He raised an eyebrow at her. This is the kind of relationship they had. He annoyed her and she annoyed him. It was like peanut butter and jelly. It just fit.
Derek bit his lips. Thoughts were flooding his mind. He couldnt like Dakota. I mean, any other girl, yeah, but Dakota? There was no possible way. Though, he couldnt stop himself from thinking she was pretty. He knew that there was no way that they could ever like eachother. He laughed to himself. Him and Dakota? What was he thinking?

"Seriously, what do you want? You never talk to me unless you want something." She tapped her fingers anxiously on the concrete, thinking. Did she like Derek? The thought had been bugging her lately. They just.. couldn't. They were friends. And friends who pretty much always annoyed each other.
That's not the best combination for a relationship. But she still couldn't help it. No matter how much she tried to convince herself she didn't like him, she knew deep down she did. And it wasn't fair. She didn't want to like him.

He raised his eyebrows at her as she spoke. He rolled his eyes. "Your only angry cause.." He leaned in right by her ear. He whispered. "Cause ya want me." He leaned away and smirked at her. Derek couldnt help himself. He flirted with all of his close friends. Just cause he flirted with her, doesnt mean he likes her...does it?
Derek couldnt help but feel a little awkward. The thoughts were still running through his head and he desperately wanted them to go away. He looked down at the ground. Part of him thought he should leave but the other part wouldnt let him.

Her jaw clenched as he leaned in. That wasn't the closest he had been to her, but for some reason it felt different. She rolled her eyes, scowling. Truthfully, she did want him. She wouldn't ever admit it though. "Oh yes. Baby oh baby. I love egotistical jerks." Her voice had no emotion in it, except for sarcasm.
Oh, how she liked hated that boy. She couldn't like him. Ever. And it's not like he would ever in a million years like her, so she probably shouldn't even get her hopes up. He could probably have any girl he wanted, so why in the world would he choose her? He wouldn't.

He watched her as she answered. He let out a small laugh. She was being sarcastic. A trait they both shared. The more he thought about the more he realized how alike they were. He shrugged, smirking. "Just as long as you can admit it." He looked away from her.
Derek leaned back. His thoughts had taken up all his energy. He looked over at Dakota. "So, what brings you here this time?" He knew Dakota and he knew that she only came to the fountain to think or relax. Surprisingly, he was concerned about her. He had to admit to himself that he did in fact like Dakota. He cringed. He didnt want to like her. He could have any girl he wanted but he couldnt figure out why he wanted Dakota. He bit his top lip.

She rolled her eyes at him. "I'll admit I want you when you admit you want me." That would never happen. She knew it wouldn't. And that way, he would never say he wanted her, and mean it. Therefore, she would never have to admit she actually wanted him.
"I just needed to get out and think." She looked up at him just in time to see him bite his top lip. She couldn't help but think of how amazingly sexy he looked when he did that. She shook the thought from her head. She was still in major denial that she liked him. She was supposed to hate the boy. And now, here she was, trying to convince herself that she didn't like him. What was wrong with the world these days?

Derek couldnt help but smirk when he heard her. Thats when he knew she liked him. He shrugged at her. "Who says I dont?" He looked at her and smiled. Not a smirk, a smile. In all the time he had seen her, he had never actually smiled at her.
He looked up at her as she spoke. He tilted his head. "About what?" She looked really pretty. He quickly looked away from her and at the ground. He cursed at himself in his head. He cant like her. He wasnt allowed. He would just have to make himself not like her. Though, he didnt think he could do that. He looked at her from the corner of his eye.

She raised one eyebrow in his direction. Did he want her? No. It wasn't possible. "Who says you do?" And was that.. was that a SMILE? Oh jezz. She didn't think she had ever seen him smile. Ever.
She shrugged. "A lot of stuff. A few days ago, I got high with this guy and we ended up hooking up, and now I regret it." She really wanted to add 'because I like you.' But didn't want to. She didn't even want to like the guy. All these feelings made no sense. It was like.. the whole world had changed. She wanted him. She knew she did. But she couldn't. No way in her entire lifetime would she like him.

As she spoke, he let out a small laugh. He wasnt going to flat out tell her that he liked her. He couldnt do that. It just wasnt his style. Derek stared at her for a minute. Before he knew it, his body was moving towards her even though his mind was screaming at him. He took her face in his hands and pressed his lips against hers. He quickly pulled back. Shit. What the hell was that?!?" He was shocked that he had done that. He wondered what she would say. He always wondered if she'd buy his excuse of a bug being on her mouth and he had to squish it...with his lips. Lamee.
Derek looked at the ground as she spoke. He couldnt help but feel sad. She hooked up with another guy? Derek looked at her and half smiled. He shrugged. "Everyone makes mistakes." He was glad that she regretted it though. Derek kissed a lot of girls and it meant nothing. He still felt upset, thinking about her and some other guy.

She looked slightly confused when he moved towards her, and the next thing she knew, his lips were pressed against hers. What.. what was that? Maybe he.. Why had he kissed her? She felt him pull away, and was actually a little disappointed. "Wh-What.. was th-that?" She was still slightly confused. Why had he kissed her? Did he like her? No. Not possible.
She nodded. "But that was a slutty mistake." She bit her bottom lip softly. Never again would she be doing that. She had felt horrible afterwards, and couldn't get stupid Derek off her mind.

Derek looked around. What the hell had he just done? He was racking his brain for a reason to tell her. He heard her speak and he wanted to slap himself. Instead, he composed himself and looked at her. He smirked and shrugged. "Why wouldnt I do that?" He jumped down off the fountain and brushed off his pants. He looked over at her.
He looked over at her and watched her bit her lip. He couldnt help but smile. She looked pretty hot when she bit her lip. He shook his head at her. "I dont think your anywhere near slutty." He laughed. "Everyone hooks up with at least someone they didnt want to in their life." He looked at her, hoping he had made her feel somewhat better.

She looked at him, the whole deer in the headlights look still on her face. "Why would you do that?" She blinked a few times, making sure that wasn't a figment of her imagination. She wanted to tell him that she liked it, and that she liked him, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. It wasn't like her to just.. tell someone that she liked them.
She shrugged. "Everyone except you. You'll hook up with anyone who's willing." She smirked at him, silently daring him to say it wasn't true. She knew he was a man whore, and that was a big reason she didn't want to admit she liked him. She would just end up getting hurt.
